NORTHERN GRAMPIANS GO DIGITAL WITH GREENLIGHT OPM

E-VIS is pleased to announce that as of June 26th, 2023, Northern Grampians has successfully implemented the GreenLight OPM system for the application of Planning and Building permits.

With the GreenLight, users now have the convenience of submitting and paying for their applications online, receiving correspondence via email, and monitoring the status of their applications from start to finish.

The introduction of GreenLight enables the Council to harness several advantages, including capturing, receiving, and processing development approvals and building-related activities from a centralized platform. The GreenLight Portal significantly simplifies the user experience, streamlining the processing system within the Council and allowing the Customer Service teams to provide more efficient and effective support to residents.

One of the most notable features of GreenLight is its flexible workflow. Each application type follows a unique process that can be configured to suit the Council's specific requirements, ensuring optimal efficiency in application processing. This system enhances data security, sharing, and overall management of multiple registers.

The GreenLight planning module empowers council staff to streamline the application processing. It provides critical alerts and workflow activities to ensure the planning team operates within statutory timeframes. Planners can efficiently communicate with both internal and external referral agencies, thereby improving the overall outcome of planning processes.
