WESTERN WIMMERA OPTS FOR GREENLIGHT TO UPGRADE SERVICES

Western Wimmera Council is committed to providing up to date professional planning and building services, to encourage and facilitate new investment and development, for residents, businesses, and its communities. Applications can be lodged via Council’s online platform called Greenlight, which enables the staff to track the progress of the applications and ensure that any permits can be provided in a suitable timeframe. 

Powered by Greenlight, the new Permit Manager platform allows applicants, residents, and builders to do all planning and building related activities at a single point. Applicants can track the real time progress of their applications, provide more information and upload documents. 

Greenlight portal significantly simplifies the user experience and saves the Council staff time and effort in processing applications. By using Greenlight all stakeholders within the council get a single real time view of the activities within planning and building department. Council managers and executives have access to all the critical information via various reports and dashboards. Planners can then communicate efficiently with both internal and external referral agencies. 

Greenlight team and Western Wimmera’s building team have partnered to deliver the Western Wimmera residents most easy and efficient way to interact with the Council. Building team is now empowered to carry out all building related activities such as report and consents, property information requests, building enforcements via the Greenlight building module. 

This newly formed alliance between Western Wimmera Council and EVIS PTY LTD will enable the Council to significantly improve their productivity and deliver strong customer focused service.
